Quillon does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your files stay on your device.
Quillon is a native text editor. It opens, edits, and saves files stored locally on your device. All file content remains on your device at all times. Quillon does not have its own servers and does not send your files or their contents anywhere.
Quillon does not collect, process, or transmit:
— The content of any file you open or edit
— Your name, email address, or any account information
— Usage analytics, telemetry, or behavioural data
— Location data
— Any other personal information
If Quillon crashes, your operating system may generate a crash report and offer to share it with the developer through Apple's standard crash reporting system. This is controlled entirely by your privacy settings (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements). We receive only anonymised, symbolicated crash logs — no file content or personal data is included. You can disable this at any time in your system settings.
Quillon includes a "Send Feedback" option that opens your default email client with a pre-addressed message. Any information you choose to include in that email is sent voluntarily. We only use it to respond to your message and improve the app. We do not share it with third parties.
Quillon is distributed via the App Store. Apple's own privacy practices apply to the purchase and download process. You can review Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of Quillon adds optional sync or analytics — this page will be updated and the effective date revised. We will not retroactively change how previously collected data is used.
